Rick Clark

Vice Provost

Rick Clark currently serves as the vice provost of Enrollment Management at Georgia Tech. In this role, he oversees Undergraduate Admission, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Scholar Programs, Enrollment Marketing and Communications, the Bill Moore Student Success Center, and Enrollment Management Administration. The Enrollment Management team works collaboratively to ensure that students receive the guidance and resources they need to not only enroll at Tech, but to also to thrive on campus. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.Ed. from Georgia State University.

Katie Conrad

Executive Director, Scholarships and Financial Aid

Katie Conrad joined Georgia Tech as the executive director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid in July 2024 after serving as the senior associate director of financial aid at Florida International University since 2016. Conrad currently serves as the vice president for training at Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA). With over 20 years of experience in the financial aid profession, she has held numerous leadership roles within her state and regional financial aid associations. She has a passion for education, lifelong learning, and promotes educational access and success.

Director, Strategic Operations

Cynthia Jennings is the Director of Strategic Operations in the Division of Enrollment Management. In this role, she supports the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management by overseeing divisional administration, policy development, special projects, and operational needs. Prior to her moving across campus, she served as an Assistant Dean of Students, where she led the Office of New Student and Transition Programs and provided direct support to students. Before joining Tech in 2013, Cynthia served as the Director of New Student Orientation and Class Year Programming at Columbia University. She holds an A.B. from the University of Georgia, an M.A. from Rider University, and an Ed.D. from the University of Georgia.

Director, Financial Administration

As the Director of Financial Administration for Enrollment Management, Lisa Sharp brings more than two decades of experience supporting complex organizations and empowering staff to succeed. Known as a trusted collaborator within the division’s leadership team, she partners closely with colleagues to align financial strategy with institutional priorities and operational needs. In her role, she leads both the finance and the building management teams, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship, efficient operations, and a supportive working environment for staff across Enrollment Management. Through thoughtful planning and a commitment to service, she plays a key role in advancing the division’s goals and long-term success.

Becky Tankersley

Director, Enrollment Marketing and Communications

A communications strategist with a passion for purpose-driven marketing, Becky Tankersley specializes in leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, multi-channel campaigns that drive enrollment and elevate institutional brand. Since 2020, she’s served as the Director of Communications for Enrollment Marketing and Communications, bringing together creativity, data, and collaboration to support the Institute’s mission and enrollment goals. Becky is an active member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), serving in a variety of volunteer roles and presenting at annual meetings since 2019. She holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and an M.Ed. from Tusculum University.

Chaffee Viets

Chaffee Viets

Executive Director, Scholar Programs

Chaffee Viets is the executive director of the Office of Scholar Programs at Georgia Tech. In this role, he provides the vision and oversight for the Stamps President’s Scholars and Gold Scholars Programs, focusing on selecting and developing the students based on the pillars of scholarship, leadership, progress and service. In addition, his team provides community development and student support for the Institute’s G. Wayne Clough Tech Promise Scholars Program, which serves financially vulnerable Georgians who merit the challenge of a Georgia Tech education. A first-generation college student, Chaffee holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in history from North Carolina State University, where he received the university’s flagship merit scholarship and need-based aid.

Executive Director, Undergraduate Admission

Mary Tipton Woolley joined Tech in 2009 as associate director of Undergraduate Admission. She then served as the senior associate director and interim executive director before rising to the executive director position in March 2025. With over 25 years of undergraduate admission experience, Woolley has played an instrumental role in advancing the Undergraduate Admission office.
